hello all i was givin a whole bunch of the bullet on the left. i was told that they were 303 british. but i noticed that the sholder is shaped different than the the remington "middle" and S&B "right". the rim is stamped "HXP 73" has green sealer around the primer. the rim is .531 x .062 bullet diamiter at the mouth of the casing is .310. my question is are these 303 british and are they safe to use in my jungle carbine?

thankyou,

Those all look like .303 British cases. HXP (Greek Powder & Catridge Co. Athens, Greece) made 303 rounds under contract for Britain.

The only thing that I can't quite tell is if the shoulder on the HXP cartridge looks different than the other ones. From the photo it certainly does.

I have 2 crates of HXP 303, it's greek stuff, highly sought after as it is boxer primed and easily reloaded. it's very consistent and I shoot it out of my enfields all the time. you have nothing to worry about.
