Not reloading any more... Need factory ammo advice

I'd look for either the Black Hills reloaded stuff or Ultramax....

but then I like to buy in bulk and usually just buy Georgia Arms... but I'm a MOH: "Minute of Head" shooter.

Yup... I'll try that Ultramax and the HSM... and I'll look at Georgia too. I have nothing to loose. And yes I love popping steel I have a gong that I take to the desert sometimes, but it needs a new... ummm... gong by now. I just need to relax about it I guess. I know the guns can shoot tiny groups with handloads... doesn't mean I have to right?

Here's another thing... I was waiting for someone to load commercial Trail Boss rounds. A full case of that under a 40gr V-Max shoots about an inch in my Howa. I wonder why no one offers that as a commercial round... that would be brilliant round for walking around rabbit shooting.

Thanks for your suggestions guys.

One thing to consider is to keep reloading, but change how you do it.

With .223 you have an easy button. There are a couple places selling fully processed military brass.

All you need to do is prime, charge and load.

By by Jethro Bodine Cipherin' you can load good quality ammo for about 37¢ each, with a lot less time at the bench.

It takes me about three hours to shoot 50 rounds at 100 yards.

From where I am sitting, if you can't find factory ammo at a resonable price that performs well in your rifle/s, and just can't eke out the time to reload the ammo with your current schedule that,
shoot tiny groups with handloads
then shoot two hours and reload for one per week.

Another option, again from where I am sitting, shoot .22lr out of a decently accurate rifle. Much less expensive ammo cost, no reloading, and if you have a decent .22lr rifle can be as accurate or even more so than a .223. The .22lr offers one much in terms of learning about distance shooting, practicing technique and fundamentals, and/or just plain fun!

My two favorite rifles that I almost always take out are my "target set up" .223 and .22.

I'm really surprised no one has mentioned southwest ammunition. They are local to me, and really big on the 'hide

I don't use 223 but I go to them for all my 308 needs. Their regular/premium ammo is known for doing as good as you can get without handloading, and their run-n-gun types are good for sub-moa.

Looks like a little over 50 cents a shot for 223. Try it out and see how it works for you.
