Then maybe he shouldn't be interfering in what is a legal activity because of his views? Shooting flyers is legal in most states and publicly advertised in PA

His video makes him another PETA-type person

I have no use for him or others of his ilk - he goes around spouting his views and then expects no retaliation?

It's unfortunate that a lot of low IQ mouthbreathers and mentally ill are drawn to the act of shooting. Lound noises, big stimulation, lots of neat, shiny toys, and things that go boom and are scary. Killing animals is a lot of fun for some people, and if you can do it with a big loud gun and make a big mess it's better than wrapping kittens in duct tape, as you might be bitten or scratched when you do that.

I mostly see real gentlemen carrying arms, as I use clubs, and public ranges around lifetime shooters who are former miltiary and such. The rudest thing I've ever seen was for a range officer to berate a punk for a grievious breach of rules.
 
I am a hunter.

I am a shooter.

I have seen people mount protests. It is their right to do so.

I believe in a quick, clean kill. I shoot for meat--not sport, and not trophies (unless it's a paper target).

What those people did to the guy making the video falls under the following categories:

a. Multiple counts of intimidation.
b. Multiple counts of assault.
c. Multiple counts of vandalism.
d. Multiple counts of aggravated assault.
e. Definitely one--if not two--counts of attempted murder.

ALL of the scum that assaulted that guy should be in prison. Period.

The idiot that pulled the pistol? The cameraman was within his rights to shoot him dead at that point.

I have been on calls where cattle were running loose. My partner and I herded them back to their home pastures by use of flashlights and sirens.

Retaliation??

You can't be serious.

All of the things done by the people in the video should and would include jailtime in any other situation.

You cannot damage a person's camera, if you are in public pictures can be taken of you, and you cannot assault,intimidate,pull a gun as "retaliation". I hope it gets enough attention and the guys get locked up.
 
I'm going to close this one as a drive by. A link and a single line of comment on it, not inviting discussion or posing a question isn't really enough.

AS to the people involved in the incident, there are jerks in all things, and it appears there is ongoing bad blood between the activist and the people he is protesting. I'm sure there is alot more to the story than what the link reports, but we aren't going to get it on this particular thread.
