Noobee 45 ACP Reloader Has a Question

Further Testing

Just curious so I took the Powder Hopper and put another hopper with a baffle and problem started again. I put the Powder Hopper without the baffle back on and no problems. I loaded another 100 rounds and the charge drop after about 15 rounds zeroed in on 5.1 grains and stayed there.

Thanks for all the help.

My Pro AutoDisk works fine with the supplied disks, but I never got any consistency at all with the adjustable charge bar and after messing with it for quite a while I ditched it.

May go back to the Autodisc and drop the adjustable charge bar.

Still having issue on and off. Drops good loads for a while and then a light one. Checking every round defeats the use of a progressive press. I have the disc so will go back and see what happens. One thing I noticed is with the adjustable charge bar the opening is a narrow oblong with pointed corners. When the powder falls in it doesn't always fill and when it drops sometimes powder remains behind. The round holes in the Autodisc fill evenly around the circular hole and drop evenly. I think the sharp corners prevent powder from filling or dropping evenly.

I've shot Bullseye for close to 50 years and never experienced any problems with using it in a powder measure. Used an old Herter's and an RCBS Uniflo, no problem. Does Lee recommend it for Bullseye?

I'm loading .45 ACP using the Lee Pro 1000 and the Autodisk. The only problem I have ever seen is that sometimes the hopper will rotate under the vibration of use and try to close. I make sure it is fully open from time to time.
