Non S&W or Ruger .357

I have no problems with any of the Rossis I've owned. Contrary to Public Opinion they make a good solid gun "NOW". Can't write about older models.
All of mine were 357's 2".

If you're looking for a CCW, Charter Arms is another option. They're reasonably priced, and are of very good quality. But Taurus, Rossi, and EAA are good alternative choices to the big 3 for larger frame guns.

I'm not sure of the going prices but recently a number of Manurhin MR 73 were surplussed & sold online.
It might be worth checking out as they are a good, but not "trendy" .38Spl/.357 revolver.

I know you are looking for OTHER THAN...but, as mentioned above the used counter will have a pile of darn good revolvers for the price of a new lesser named specimen. Given that Ill say check out the ruger sp101s and gp100s. Great guns for the money.

Secondly the taurus and rossi's from back when I was paying attention to them were actually fairly quality (better than their autos) but no fuss no muss. For a range queen no biggie.
