no pics yet... but I will soon... lets see your cartridge conversion C&B guns...

Well got the snubby done just waiting on the bluing kit and front sight to show up. As you can see the brass trigger guard didnt turn out black like I described, tried liver of sulfer on it. It did dull the patina and give it a slighty more brown look. i guess I'll stick with it. But cleaned it up put it all together and took it to the range today. First time with the konverter in it, 6 outta 10 shots on the paper at 25yds with just the V notch, no front sight. I'm Happy!!! haha

not my gun, but if you're going to blue the rest, I like the brass trigger guards...

BTW... what the the heck have you done to those bullets... they look tactical

Yea, I think I'm going to keep the brass as is now. It does give a good contrast. Haha, I just filed crosses on the flat tops and removed any bures with some 0000 steel. Figured they'ed be good defense rounds, kinda a hollow point knock off. Then some old vets told me they were illegal as hell!! So i blasted em off at the range yesterday.

Why would that be illegal for ANY bullet?

Oh and....picture of a BEAUTIFUL Kirst '51 navy...wish it was mine...Ahhh...someday:rolleyes:

finally got a couple pics of mine...

my custom converted 32 S&W pocket ( both of these cap & ball conversion guns have been reworked inside to out, to safely fire the cartridges they are chambered for, & these are "one off" conversions, not just a pre made drop in conversion cylinder )

my 32-20 conversion...

my single action wall rack... CAS paired guns on top... note my spur trigger collection on bottom right, & the Sharps & Hankins 32 Rimfire pepperbox in the middle... the bare holding rod saves the place for my newest custom, a Ruger single 10, converted to an 8 shot 257 "special" ( actually a wildcat version of the 257 Magnum wildcat ) that is about 3/4 complete right now

thanks... my single actions are ( IMO ) a nice mix of originals, a couple conversions, to new polished stainless Rugers... all will at least fire, ( though I've never fired the bottom break S&W or the pepper box, both "function" & I have no reason to think they wouldn't fire ) & I have ammo for all... ( the 30 rimfire has 22 caliber eggscentric rifled chamber inserts in the cylinder, so I can shoot shorts or Colibri's ( since I couldn't ever find any good 30 rimfire ammo I thought I could shoot)

Magnum Wheel man, I'm interested in doing a 32-20 conversion on a 49' to go with my 32-20 1873 Winchester, my question is about bottlenecking the chambers, could you send me a PM (private message), so we could talk? Also, ROA is Ruger Old Army.

Magnum Wheel Man:
OK... I'll plead ignorant... what is an ROA ( brand I assume ??? )

Way out of my baliwyck, but ROA is Ruger Old Army, the blackpowder "Ruger Blackhawk."

I have absolutely, positively no use for these guns, but they sure are pretty!
