No More Dealings with EAA Witness.........Got me a Colt Delta Elite

I bought an unfired Delta last year. It ate its slide in short order. Colt replaced it at no charge. I've fired 800 mixed handloads through it, from six different mags, and have yet to experience a stoppage. So, while the gun may be discontinued, Colt is still supporting it. 800 rounds is too soon to tell, but I don't see any signs of excessive wear. The fit and finish of this circa 1990 "darkest days" pistol are outstanding.

Mine runs fine, several thousand rounds of full loads through it with only minor problems. (All my fault)

I would buy another witness no question. The few times I called, they took care of me in short order and the email response of the customer support used to be great.

Since my Witness has been so reliable I have had no need to test it in the last year or so.

Good luck on the Colt, I hope it lasts and I am glad to hear Colt is still supporting it.
