No more AR-15's.. Say it ain't so!!!

Jeff Thomas,

It's getting hard to stand the Dim-o-crap party's agenda here in sunny, but cool California. Been thinking about relocating to the Prescott area sometime in the next couple of years - I'm told that compared to Phoenix it does not get quite as "fry-your-brain" hot in the summer. What's the real story? What's the housing and computer job market like?

Thanks,
Sholling

sholling, check another thread around here about moving to Arizona. And, you're right - Prescott is definitely cooler than Phoenix. J&G Sales is up there ( http://www.jgsales.com/ ), and Gunsite ( http://www.gunsite.net/ ) is just north of Prescott, up in Paulden, AZ.

You might also check out Payson and the Rim country. Depends on how much urban life you need. There are lots of nice, small towns in AZ's mountain areas. In Arizona, elevation is everything. The higher it is, the cooler it is, and vice versa.

Arizona is still relatively free, booming economically, and has beautiful country and a great variety of terrain. You can go from pool to snow in a couple of hours in the Winter. Great state.

Regards from AZ.
