(Note: Traditional .17 Ackley Hornet will shoot both that round and the new shorter .17 Hornady Hornet, but the reverse is NOT true - the .17 Hornady Hornet rifles will not shoot the .17 Ackley Hornet. So the Ackley chamber is actually more versatile)
