No gun = no $ cards...

While I am sympathetic and agree that anti gun laws are BS, they ARE the law.

Giving people advice to break the law in an open forum is just plain stupid.

LOL, well, it was inevitable that someone would make such a post. There's one on EVERY such discussion. And once again the poster isn't quite synchronized with the topic of discussion.

What LAW are you talking about?

In Nevada, for one example, the law doesn't prohibit you from carrying in a posted business. It only provides that such a business can ask you to leave and have you cited for tresspassing if you don't. If they knew you were carrying in the first place.

The fine is $25 dollars, and license status isn't affected.

Nobody is giving advice on carrying where forbidden by State or Federal law.

Been passing these cards out to business`s since the 30.06 signs came out. There are quite a few sign`s around the State of Ohio. Its their right to do so and I respect peoples rights. Its also my right(and duty) as a ccw carrier, realizing that these business`s cannot guarantee my(or families) safety while in their business, to take the time to present one of my cards to the business owner(preferably) or manager. I do this in a polite way and most of the time get polite responses. One thing you can be guaranteed of is 'I`ll absolutely not patronize that business'. Don`t care if they`re giving products away. I just want them to understand why!

I've never heard of these cards before and I CC in Texas. There are many places I refuse to do business with because of their signs. Is there a website where I can order these cards at? I would be more than willing to hand these out.

You can get the Texas CHL ones through the Texas State Rifle Association at: http://www.tsra.com/store/items.html (down toward the bottom of the page).

Here in "The Deep South" we don't do business, with a business
that post such ignorant signs~!;)

Do they really think that they can fool a potential perp from
doing bodily harm, if he/she so desires? An old saying that is
worth repeating:

"Guns DON'T Kill People; PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE"~!

I have often pondered the liability issue if one is shot in a place that is posted, prohibiting the carrying of weapons. It might be argued that placement of such a sign would place a higher responsibility upon the owner to protect you.

Good points, but if I really thought I needed my gun to go into the store, I wouldn't go there anyway.

But here in NV, those sign's are not law, just a suggestions, not including School's, Court house's........

A little bird told me that.

Elvishead.....I wouldn't go to a store where I thought I needed a gun either. But that's not the point. The point is that no one knows or can predict when they'll need to be armed, so you remain armed at all times. These stores attempt to impede that.
