Night Sights

Night sights are cool,but they aren't a must have, or even a nice to have.

I have a Couple of guns with them, but they would be something I'd go out of my way to buy.
 
My carry is a Colt New Agent in 45ACP , it doesn't have the conventional front and rear sights , they have a trench cutout front to back down the top of the slide . The pistol came with CT Laser grips , it's a true carry piece just point and shoot . For a 3" 1911 it is as accurate as my 5" at 10+ yards . As long as you train with night sights , reg sights , CT or flashlights , you have to be comfortable with whatever you pick . It's the person looking back at you that will make the difference . Know how to use your carry if not leave it home . Practice .
