Night Sights vs Fiber Optic Sights

The problem, in the long run, with <tritium> night sights is that they fade.

I have a Glock that I purchased in 1994 and I added tritium night sight that same year. While definitely not as bright as brand new, those same sights are STILL visible and quite serviceable to this day.

The way that I look at it, if there is not enough light to make a FO glow, I probably can't reliably make out a target under those lighting conditions and should not be randomly sending lead out.

this right here is why I'm also thinking of FO sights. I only have night sights on one of my pistols. I've noticed that in my apartment flipping on my bedroom light pretty much lights up the hallway all the way to my front door and using the TLR-1 instead almost washes them out too but still provides enough light in the tight hallway to give me a silhouette of the sights. I think, at least for an HD gun in my apartment FO might be the way to go. probably most situations I think they would serve me better.
