Newest Cabelas Flyer "Tacticrap"

personally after a burning off a clip in my favorite swat tactical stance i just love stabbing that bad boy in to the top of the shooting bench... HOW COOL IS THAT!? That way I don't to scratch my Tupperware!
Your pistol is clip fed? You are already tacticool. Wait till they come out with the front sights on the sides of the blade so the gun can be aimed while holding it sideways gangsta style.

Clip fed for life!

sorry it was a joke but sarcasm is hard to get across.:D

Gangstas don't AIM! =D

A buddy and I were in the Cabelas in KC last week and they had a BIG pile of those LaserLyte bayonets. They couldn't give them away.

My question is how to employ such a "tool". Do you buy a special holster? Do you keep it on your belt and wait to give yourself the "Fix Bayonets!" command? Isn't a big folding knife WAY more practical?

For $149, couldn't you buy a crap ton of mags, so you don't need a bayonet? Or more ammo so you can practice more and not let your adversaries (presumably evil ninjas?) get close enough to use a knife?

I recall a similar circumstance when talking to a pogue who got attached to our QRF team for a week or two. He had literally a dozen knives on him in various configurations. His excuse was "what if I run out of ammo?". My reply was, lose 11 knives and carry four more magazines.

lose 11 knives and carry four more magazines

Eureka! That really works?!?!?

I tried to give my 60 year old mother a tactical fanny pack, but she called me a sissy and punched me in the face. On second thought, I deserved it.

I should explain that six of the knives in question were those little 2" throwing knives that come in a three-pack holster kind of thing that you're supposed to tie around your wrist or ankle.

Personaly, I guess I can see the reason behind this. It is the answer about bringing a knife to a gunfight, or something like that... :barf:

This is the kind of stuff my nephew would buy. If it is something new, he would have it, reguardless of how useless it is.

Absolutely correct!

The pistol/knife idea is hardly new, it's been around for one hundred and fifty years at least.
But on some of those old single shot 32 rimfires the knife could actually be handy in a poker hand dispute.

In a sick, twisted way....

... I find that I also like the cup.

I'm assuming the web link in black, next to the cup, repeated in clue at bottom, is where one would find it.

I hot linked the site under the picture when I posted it (cause I hate seeing stuff and not being able to find it online).
I have no relation to "Hero Gear" other than the fact that I also want one of their battle mugs. But, unless I get it as a gift, I don't think it is happening. Those suckers are expensive!
