Newby question

I can feel a grind (something rubbing) when I cocked the hammer. I've had it to the GS twice...

Bought my wife (5' 100lbs) a s&w mod. 60 and a 67 thinking she would like the j-frame better. Wrong again. She likes the 4" k-frame better. Shoots it quite often. She may have put a box through the j-frame.

Agree with the comments above about snubby too small. Got my wife a Model 65, 4 inch, fixed sights, police return in excellent shape for $250.
She LOVE's it. Started with .38 light loads/reloads. We finish a range session with 2 cylinders of +P .38. Can't get her to shoot anything else!
Got the full size grips (house gun) and recoil is minimal. No need for .357's.

The best advice I can give is the first I ever got a from a gun store salesman,
"buy youself this 4inch Model 64 HB .38 S&W and spend the rest of your time and money on ammo and practice". 20 years and 50 handguns later, I realize "how true"!
