Newbie Reloading Questions

---the priming arm that came with my RCBS press and never like it.

I used the RCBS press's priming arm for years and years (and more years) and I never liked it much either. (I think that says more about me than the RCBS priming arm-and what it says isn't good.) Never got a hand primer, you know, because I already had something that worked but now I wish I would have tried some of this stuff.

I had a discussion with one guy (about electronic scales) who finally realized what I was telling him.

Well it wasn't me although I wish it had been. I got an electronic scale for Christmas a few years ago and for a week or so I'd weigh a dozen coins I had marked one at a time and kept a record of what the weights were. After that I boxed up the electronic scale and went back to the RCBS 5-0-5. I've copied and pasted your procedure into a document of my own and it might be time to dust off the box and take it out and give it an honest try.

Thanks.

If you want to load match grade rifle cases you may consider a case concentric guage. Welcome to your new addiction. Its alot of fun.

:)For post #24 here. One can go on and on with money.

Everyone is going to have his favorite dies and presses. The only comment I am going to have is on a primer tool. The recommended tolerances are so narrow that I like to take muscle control out of the equation, hence, I don't use a hand priming tool. Look for a ram priming tool that can be set and forgotten about once the right seating depth for the primer is locked in. I know RCBS has one and it works fine.
