Newbie Question: Do I have enough pistols?

. . . . I just want to have enough for practical personal defence and occasional target practice for fun.
I have two 9mm's...a Canik S120 (CZ 75B clone) for target and home defence, and a Ruger LC9s for IWB concealed carry. I also have two .22's... a Buckmark for target, and a Ruger SR22 for plinking and fun. I think this is enough. Am I correct?
As others have noted, we can't really decide if you have enough. You said that you "just want to have enough for practical personal defence and occasional target practice for fun." You probably have your needs minimally covered, but only minimally.

I'll join the gang that says you should add a revolver to the stable. I'd go with something in .357 Magnum, even if you never shoot .357s in it. That would let you shoot everything from creampuff .38 Special loads up to and including hot .357 Magnum loads, all out of one pistol. As has been said, revolvers aren't ammo sensitive in the same ways that semiautos are. While I carry a semiauto about 80% of the time, I carry a Ruger LCR the rest of the time. I took it to the range last week and had a ball shooting it.

I'll also add that you've only got 2 calibers. We've had severe ammo shortages in the last 8 years, and have never really recovered. In the event that there's another one, I'd suggest that you do some combination of the following: (1) learn to reload; (2) stock up; or (3) branch out into other calibers.

If you have to ask yourself if you have enough pistols, YOU DONT

If you can, off the cuff, say how many guns you have, YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH.

Remember: Slaves get what the NEED, Freemen get what they WANT.

Like the other guys said, maybe a big boomer, something cowboy, something capable of harvesting deer, something with accuracy at longer ranges than a 9mm, something that can shoot heavy or light loads depending on your mood, a revolver, something that could be scoped. All seven of those things could be fulfilled by a Ruger Blackhawk in .44 mag, for example. Or you could buy a separate gun for each.

I take it you don't hunt much with handguns. It's easy to end up with a whole collection of guns for each particular type of quarry or environment. Head shooting a squirrel, dropping a big buck, dealing with a dozen raccoons in the feed room at once, or a pack of wild hogs that run the wrong way(towards you!), longer range coyotes, or carrying something for the occasional rabbit while quail hunting, could all easily require very different firearms.

A hammerless snub 38 or 44 is an excellent CC revolver.

A 4" medium frame 357 is probably the most practical and multi-purpose revolver a person could own.

My favorite handguns to shoot for fun are my long-barreled single-action Ruger Blackhawks. You can get the 357 with a spare cylinder in 9mm, and the 45 colt with a spare cylinder in 45acp. The spare cylinders make the ammo cheaper and/or easier to find.

You have plenty.
Later down the road, your shooting will improve,
your tastes will change, and about the same time
your wallet catches up with your wants, you'll
know what to get.

NO!!.......

You aint got no revolvers, you aint got no 45s, you aint got no 38s, no 357s, no 44s....yer telling me you aint even got no 40 short-weaks!? No, you do not have enough pistols, lets not even get started on rifles!!;)
