I bought an as new unfired Phoenix at a garage sale for my sister-in-law but she just didn't have the hand strength to rack it. She has Arthritis in her hands. It had both the long and short barrels and two magazines. Researching the firearm online I read where you should only shoot mild loads and not the high velocity stuff. In fact, I think I remember it stating that in the owner's manual.
Since she could not rack the slide she had me sell it for her and she used the money to get a revolver instead. I thought seriously about buying the little gun from her myself and just keeping it but I really didn't have a need for it.
