Warning: your blood pressure will most likely rise from reading it

The article stems from the recent incident where that "neighborhood watch" volunteer shot that teenager.

The majority of the article claims that "stand your ground" is about being able to start fights, shoot people and then get away with it. From CNN's own "legal analyst": "I think the law is basically an invitation to use deadly force under basically any circumstance"

Then at the end they give several little blurbs from opposing view points.

Enjoy!

Yes, Fair & Balanced like always. :D

This really is a tragic situation and it is a shame that so many folks are using this young man’s death to push a political agenda, but I guess it cuts both ways. Also, it seems like the Zimmerman guy made a lot of mistakes and was overly aggressive, but do we know for certain that he was not attacked? Everyone needs to let the investigation proceed to fruition before passing judgment on anyone.

So in the last 1/3 of the article they allow that their characterization in the first 2/3rds, and by their own legal analyst, is factually incorrect. Though the writer doesn't acknowledge this.

It really is no different than the comments by posters found at the bottom of every article on the case. Instead of dealing with the law as written, it's about guns so the law must allow this to be. The thought that he may have broken that law hasn't occured to them.
