For me, an adjustable rear sight is a must on a 10mm. I load bullets ranging from 135gr to 200gr. I put a set of Meprolight night sights, with an adjustable rear sight, on my Glock 20. They were expensive, but well worth it.
Similar experience. I'd been eager to find one, but drew blanks at every turn. Then, this week, found one like yours pictured above. Great looks, terrific feel. Can't wait to see if it shoots as well as it looks...
WOW that Sig is nice!! I'll even go so far as to say it's a work of art!
Suddenly the Colt Delta Elite Gen 2 has extremely tough competition in my mind. Without having seen a head to head battle, I'm inclined to believe the Sig would win....
This is the model that interests me, although the low-capacity mag is still a downer. In the YouTube review below, this particular model (good review, by the way, and worth the watch) is the Sig P220-10 - sku# 220R5-10-RTAS-MSE.
Also, just FYI for the 10mm fans on this board, but you might want to check out the July 2015 issue of The Am.Rifleman. Under the "Loading Bench" section, there's a big write-up on current 10mm factory ammo and pistols by writer Layne Simpson, himself a long time 10mm fan.
That is one beautiful handgun! But I have to say, your tag line told the whole story after the first post!! You already had it listed so I knew you went back and got! Took all the anticipation out of waiting to see your decision! Haha I'm kidding. Congrats
That is one nice looking pistol, even better than my 1995 vintage nickel plated P220. I've always thought that my SIG C3 was my best looking pistol, but that P220 rivals it.
