New RCBS powder dispenser

Everybody knows I'm a died in the wool RCBS fan.......but with this one I have to agree....so far.
The only talking points, is the much better "footprint" and simplicity.....meaning one tool instead of 3.
I would like to hear RCBS defend the product......think I'm going to ask my RCBS Engineer friend.

Since when is an advertisement copyrighted. I gave CL Products as the source (typo) should've been CE Products (oops)....even gave the price....and a positive review.....so you think they were against such a post......free advertising? A review without their picture isn't much of a review.....its not like I was abusing them.

Every picture there is for media use to push their product....Think they don't want those pictures posted everywhere they can? That's what they are for.

$960 combo kit from CE Products: scale, auto trickler, auto thrower....all electronically connected to work together. .02 grains accuracy in 10sec throws.

So now I know why RCBS has been phasing out the Chargemaster 1500 combo. Too bad, I love my 1500 , can't beat it for the $275 (after a $25 rebate) that I paid. That's just a stupid high price point for the new model for the general recreational shooter. I do like the dual drop tubes as sometimes the 50+ grain throw slowness of my 1500 is an annoying issue.
Just for grins I timed myself loading this morning, loaded 25 rounds using 30.0 gns of Varget per case. Average was 36 seconds for throwing, finger trickling to exactly 30.0 grains, and transferring it to the case. Granted I could be seating a bullet while the machine throws the next change but how long does it take to put the case in the press and drop a bullet into it, 5 seconds maybe, That is a whole lot of money to spend to save 5 seconds each round

This new powder dispenser shows up just as my old Lyman 1200 DPSII died. I ordered the RCBS 1500 Combo instead.

I just ordered the Chargemaster Lite from Cabelas for $195. If the new dispenser gets down to a reasonable/realistic price in a few years I will probably give it a try.
I got one a few months ago. So far it beat the Lyman Light and the Hornady heavy.
Just plug in the grains and tell it to go. Reasonably fast (20 second or so fore 30-06) and accurate.
The Horny dispenses fine but take programing that has to be re-done each new load (I asked Hornady and they said they hate that on it as well)
I had two Lymans die and they are a pain to set as you really need a stylus.
I use the RCBS for the most loads and the Hornady for fill in if I am doing blocks of 50 with varying amounts of powder in some cases.
I do have a Lyman 2000 that I use as a cross check if I think the dispenser has gotten squintee eyed, sudden shift in zero.

How's your RCBS "lite" model for dropping charges under or over ? My 1500 combo probably throws an undercharge about 1 in 20 charges. Just curious if the newer models are less prone to this issue.
Something around 1 in 10 maybe is over or under.
Have not paid that much attention as 1/10 of a gr at 200 -300 meters which is the longest I shoot a non issue.
Maybe 1 -20 it overshoots enough to adjust or just dump back into the hopper.
It has no adjustments so its simpler than the 1500 setup wise. Smaller as well.
I like it best of the ones I have or had. I don't have a 1500.
