New Kel-Tec P-11

Keltec P11

I've had one for a few years (serial # 31XXX) and it fast became my primary carry gun -- and I've owned and own some decent guns (hkp7/usp, kahr 9, sig 230/220, walther ppk, para-ord p12) and the P11 has been as reliable and problem free as any of them.

For carry it's very comfortable and light. I highly recommend the belt clip -- mine has never been in a holster. Also, if your cheap like me instead of buying a houge slip grip for it, I cut about a 2-2 and a half length piece of a bicycle tire tube and slipped it over the grip -- to me, it improved the feel of the gun and over time I found the rubber on it gets a little tacky, which improves the grip more.

The trigger does suck though -- my only complaint (I got used to it thru practice).

Come on guys... it's a DAO pistol. You knew it when you bought it. Maybe I'm lucky, but while the trigger IS somewhat heavy, the trigger is greasy-rubberband smooth IMO.

I've had more problems with reliability than anything else.
