I used to shoot a $200 FEG in IDPA matches. A quote from one of my buds: "You gonna take that Sears Roebuck pistol of yours and whup our asses again?"

Price is not always a guarantee of reliability.

A .22 is a great choice. Extremely cheap to shoot, and wonderful for developing trigger skills.

Two guns that should be at the top of your list are the Browning Buckmark and Ruger Mark II.

Both are relatively inexpensive (:eek:) but reliable, accurate, and well made.
