New Glock models (unofficially) announced for 2015

According to Weddle's Gun Shop there are several new models listed on the 2015 Glock Stocking Dealer package list.

MOS models(new configurations) include:

- Gen4 G34(9x19mm)
- Gen4 G35(40s&w)
- Gen4 G41(45 auto)
- Gen4 G40(10mm)

You'll notice the much anticipated Glock 40, which is a long slide 10mm. This should be a fantastic woods gun. Weddle's is speculating that the MOS G34/G35 is a milled slide version ready to accept red dot sights.

You can check out Weddle's Facebook page here.

Personally, I'm a little sad there was no mention of a Gen4 G30S...

Still no single stack 9x19...

At this point, there aren't many jokes left to tell.

Though I do agree that longslide 10mm will have some fans.

I wasn't expecting that. I was told by a little birdie that there wouldn't be a single stack 9mm released at SHOT - probably not even in 2015 - but that it WILL be coming. They won't release it until G42 sales really die off though and at the moment they're selling well I guess.

With that said, the same person also told me that I should be looking forward to the Gen4 G30S at SHOT. I suppose that's still a possibility... but it's surprising to not see it on the list unless it's just being kept quiet. I don't see why though. The G40 seems like bigger news than the Gen4 30S.

The "Glock 40" is going to create significant confusion at sales counters nationwide.
SOmewhat foolish not o use that model number for a 40 SW IMO.

I think the only appropriate thing would have been to make it a 22lr. ;)

It will cause confusion among the inept, just as the people calling the glock 22 a glock 40 does.

I had 'heard' that single stack 9mm would make it this time. Worth what you paid for it. OH, well.

I thought the 41 was already a G4?

As far as the 40 terms for a Glock - confusion reigns. I asked an LEO if he was carrying a Glock 22 and he got huffy and said it's not a 22 but a 40.

Only professionals will know which to carry.

No curved Glock? :D

Yep, it is! But being an MOS means it's a different configuration. Same as the 34/35. That's why people are speculating that it may be milled for the RDS.

Been there. "Heck no! I don carry no dang 22! Dis here is a foaty!" :p :D

So the long awaited 10mm 'practical/tactical' is finally here?? It's been awhile since I anticipated anything from Glock, but they actually found a way to get me interested yet again.

G40! My dreams come true....I'm saving now. There's a new pistol on the top of my list.

Hope it retains slim slide like the 41 has.

If you are going to transcribe the spoken words of the infamous DEA tool that Glock'd himself in a room full of children, you simply must get the final word spot-on because it truly is THAT important to the quote.

It's not a "Glock 40"
it simply must be transcribed as:
"this Glock Fo-tay!"

why is this weddles gun shop the "written in stone" word on glock's? I am just not familiar with them, do they have insider info that other companies would not have?

It would seem that it is not any insider information.. rather that they were the first ones to post about it.

I'm guessing that most dealers would be receiving the 2015 Glock Stocking Dealers Product List...

Why is the 10mm so popular? The old Colts were jamamatics. If you want a woods gun nothing beats a revolver, like the new S&W 44 mag in a K frame, and the bore goes up from there... Ammo is cheaper and easier to find, they can handle real big bores that offer true stopping power for dangerous stuff. You only stuff so much in a tiny 10mm case. Like putting a Shelby Cobra engine in a Yogo...
