Netflix movie "Anon"

It's a Charter Dogbull Windicator with a 30 caliber round magazine clip.
Makes as much sense as any other "Holluwood" gun these days.

Top Break self-ejectors?

I found a later copy of that book and Dean Koontz had changed the auto ejecting 45 revolver to a 1911 auto. But he still left in the AK-47 with the 400 round magazine. He has no idea how heavy 400 rounds of ammo would be or what kind of spring it would take to lift that many rounds in a magazine that long.

It looks a lot like a S&W 586 with a bright nickle finish, not stainless.
Actually, it's a stainless 3" 686. The stainless hammer and trigger are a giveaway. Those parts have always been case-hardened on nickel and blued S&W's.

(It's an easy way to tell if a Smith has been re-nickeled if the hammer and trigger are silver.)

Thank you for that info. I should know that since my favorite revolver is a nickle M19!
