Had one, finally let my brother have it (as much to shut him up as anything) with the provision when he got tired of it he would sell it back to me. He did (get tired of it ) and he didn't (sell it back to me). Still haven't replaced it and I want to. Never let him whine me out of another gun agin.

I hate to tell you this, SGMS, but I paid around $900 for that 25-5 4".
And I was damned glad to part with the money.

I paid 500 for my 25-5 with 4 inch barrel (the best of the best) with the pined barrel but that was so long ago and I paid too much for it then but it is one gun I will never let go.
My last big ticket Smith was a Lew Horton 24 with a 3 inch barrel.
