Need suggustions for next "must have in collection" gun

I agree with the consensus -- a single-action revolver.

You already have a small, striker-fired 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a large single-action .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol, a double-action .357 Magnum revolver, and a rimfire plinker/target gun. The only main category you are missing is a single-action revolver.

Your collection is nicely rounded so far but the autos are taking over. You got a 45 and a nine and a 22 so the only thing left there is a little auto in 380 like a nice PPK. As for wheelguns you still need a 22 target revolver, a 38spl snubby and a single action, preferably 45 long Colt. All the guns you got so far are perfect representitive samples of the breed. I like to cover the bases before going after oddball stuff so the stupid judge is right out.

Also, If you want Colts you better get crackin' now.

Like noted above - .22 revolver is the missing link. S&W 617 comes to mind first but others options out there from DW22 to Kit Gun (Classic), Model 34, 17 or the venerable 63.

Like your Ruger Mk III - it will probably be shot most. Great for getting new shooters started, plinking, pest control and just fun!

Yup, my vote. GO for the big bore later.

I'm allowed to make my next purchase in 90 days so I have time to save up and decide.

I'm not sure what communist state you live in but I can assure you that the crime rate there is higher than mine

I agree with the .22 revolver suggestion but also include .22 semi-auto combat style pistol to practice with -- a Beretta 87 if you are talking "must have."

Your list is pretty good, I don't know that there is another "must have" unless you are involved or plan to get involved in specific activities that call for another pistol.

For example, if you plan to start doing a lot of big game hunting with a handgun, an optics-friendly .44Mag revolver would probably be a good buy.

Funny because my 'collection' (if you could call it that) is no different than yours but I am a 686 or GP100/SP101 behind you.

9mm Glock G19 (Had a 26 but didn't like it)
22rf Ruger 22/45
45acp SA Loaded in stainless

Next up 357 revolver

After my first revolver, other plans include either a micro compact (Springfield EMP), full size 9mm (92FS), or a 44 revolver. I sold off my G26 because I didn't like it.
