Need opinions on what gun(s) to pick up next!

I would definitely advise against spending $1200 on a 1911 unless you're an expert and have a climate controlled safe. Could you imagine if you scratched it or something? AR-15s are pretty cool, everyone should have one. You could get a Bushmaster and a bunch of ammo for $1200. As far as the other ones that you listed I wouldn't get any of them. My friend has the Walther .22 and it's given him problems. I would get a nice .22 rifle or a Ruger Mark III. Also, if you really want a 1911 you could get an STI Spartan or a Springfield for half of what the S&W would cost. You could also get a nice AK, an Uzi and a Saiga 12 among other things with $1200. Good luck and choose wisely.

I'd go with an AR and a plinking pistol. Either a .22 pistol. (browning buckmark, ruger mark II or III, GSG 1911 .22). Have all 4 of those .22's and all shoot excellent. Or you could go with a glock model 17 or 19 being as that you have a semi auto in 9mm with the G26 and could buy the 9mm in bulk or reload yiur own. Plus the mags for the G17, G19 will also work in the G26. But whatever you do, don't buy the P22. Nothing but issues with that gun.

Alright... So my Arms Dealer is highly suggesting a Rock River Operator 2 AR. He said its difficult to build an AR close to their quality for $1k plus you get the lifetime warranty. I will probably be going with that.:D

Well, I'm going to a gun show this weekend, and I'm thinking strongly that my next handgun is going to be a Colt Police Positive Special.

Why? I have no freaking clue, I'm a Smith & Wesson man...

Or, you could go a completely different route and order a SIG P220 Compact Elite SAO for $550 from cdnninvestments.com. The best "bang for your buck" I've come across in a firearm.
