Elephant was imported from Brazil if I remember correctly. I remember it fouling more and giving lower velocities than other black powders.
If you liked Elephant, you're going to love Goex, and if you can swallow the price, $wiss is the benchmark of black powders, the muzzleloading bench rest shooters swear by it. Slovenian made Kik is also good stuff.
I just tried some Olde Eynsford made by Goex and it is just as hot as $wiss.
