R O T F LA pound and a half (24 ounces) is nothing for carrying a gun. If that is a burden, maybe ones belt and pants crotch need to be hitched up to where they belong, never mind multicultural dress mode and underwear as public fashion. Nothing personal, just a rant, but we have a nation of youth that dress like they are retarded, with a complete lack of taste and good grooming. Then they expect to conceal an effective firearm.
At 67 years old I'm far from having the saggy pants fashion! By choice anyway.
But to me an extra 1/2 pound of carry weight, even in a well designed IWB holster like my Theis Hybrid IWB model is very noticable. Most often my LCR is pocket carried in a coat pocket in a DeSantis Nemesis for cold weather carry, and I know an extra 10 ounces would be noticed even more in that mode.
I know for a fact that the 12 ounces difference between my KAHR CM9, and Springfield XD40 Sub Compact is very noticable in the same exact style of Theis IWB holster.
