Need Help - How do I decontaminate my guns?

My carry gun builds up lint behind the trigger and a couple of other hard to reach spots, lately the lint has been staring at me funny...should I be worried?

There are some microbes that can live in oil, I don't think that they are human pathogens though.

Large diesel storage tanks have to be treated with anti microbial agents periodically.

Try setting it next to a S&W model 27 or a blued colt 1911 :D :D

I'm sure the alcohol in those disposable eyeglass wipes would be a good portable option.
