Need .22 LR Cartridge w/ Little Penetration

Well, tonight I tried some of the ratshot. I had pretty good results until I ran out of ammo. There are now 61 less pigeons in the barn. I will go back to the store tomorrow.

Yeah you surely needed a control! Was that 61 for 50 shots or 61 from 100?
Yeah I always liked rat shot and have had great results.

Doyle, I dont understand your poor results with .22 shotloads. I have killed hundreds of birds in dairy barns out to probably 25 or 30 feet with shotloads out of my 6.5 inch single six revolver. Shooting them out of a rifle adds maybe 10 feet to the range. Plenty of range to reach the roof in most barns.

Windmill, glad it worked out for you, clean those s&%tmachines out !!

If they are true country pigeons, clean a few next time and taste why they were imported in the first place. Mmmmmmm... pigeon.

Wouldn't eat an urban pigeon, though.
