Name pre-2000 guns you dream of owning

Colt Anaconda/Stainless/Colt 45/5 inch (1990). I’ll get one if I have to Johnny Cash it; I don’t care if it doesn’t have a pedigree. I’m gonna shoot it!

1886 Winchester, Extra Lightweight, 33-WCF....
Pre WWII Colt SAA in 45, of course, but 44-40 would be acceptable....
Winchester model 55 solid frame...

I find many of the old classics much more interesting than today’s offerings & over the last few years I’ve acquired some nice ones that I’ve stumbled across. I’m not actively seeking anything, just couldn’t pass up Marlin 39 Golden & minty Nylon 66 from the 60’s, 1948 Colt Woodsman, Dan Wesson pistol pack from 1979, Colt 1903 hammerless in 32acp made in 1917, & also picked up a new old stock SS Ruger Old Army.
So I’m all over the place when it comes to what I like but I know it when I see it.

they made guns past 2000?
ive owned and enjoyed just about all I want from pre 2000. sadly, it was so many, I got rid of most of them and have just few nice shotguns left.
life priorities changes everything with age.

but, if you were to wiggle a franz sodia model 71 under my nose, I might bite.

Well, since we’re dreaming here:
Transferable Spandau MG08, because I want to use the phrase “my Spandau” in general conversation.

Transferable MP 40 because they’re cool and I like them

S&W Model 544
S&W Model 520 (The old N-Frame)
Winchester 1895 in .30-06
And either a Browning or Winchester High Wall in .25-06 with half round and half octagon bbl.

That would keep me well entertained for a while.

Rotary mag 99s in .308 Win are rare, they supposedly exist, but no one ever seems to see any. Most of the .308s are the later box magazine models from the 60s.

Interesting. I have a 99 with rotary mag/brass round counter in .308Win. Had no idea they were so rare.

Wish Id bought a Win M 70 (old style) in 1965 when I bought a M94-30-30,
or woish the 94 was pre 64.

Didnt know then that they had cheapened those gun lines.

I went into I TEXAS store in San Antonio and the 94s were piled head high, $59.95...Oct 1965.

Smith & Wesson made some very nice stainless revolvers in the 1980s and 1990s. I'd love to have a 2" and 4" Model 631 in .32 H&R Magnum.
