I left Aug 29 of last year. I graduated with Fox Co. 2nd Bn. It was and still is an interesting experience, one which I do not regret. But I also can say that I do not envy your son's position :) What MOS is your son? Make sure that you send LOTS of pogeybait hehehe. I wish him luck.

I took care of a lot of Marines when I was in the Navy; considered it an honor and priviledge. The Marines take care of their own.

You MUST attend his graduation. The amount of pride and satisfaction he'll feel by seeing you there is unfathomable, and you'll feel the same way.
