My newest, unexpected gun purchase

I cut my teeth on my dads 1959 Mark 1 Ruger target model. That pistol is more accurate than I could shoot it. I was 8 years old and I could hit birds in trees. It was not hard to take apart. The assembly was a pain unless you turned the gun upside down and all around. My biggest complaint was getting a sliced up bloody thumb from reloading the magazines. No neat little plastic loading tools like came out in the 1980's.

I love my MKII but will never take apart again . Did when 1st bought and had to have dealer put back to gather. Took him a few mins also. I shoot spray clean and rod the barrel . Little oil and done . . Been years and still runs fine. I will be dead before taken apart again.
^^What he said!^^ Really is a great gun, I replaced the mag disconnect and it is still a ..............to put back together. Probably will never take it apart again.

The Ruger mk series .22s are fantastic pistols. The only thing that really sucks about them is the disassembly and reassembly. As far as functioning, they work great. The original poster should be happy with his choice.
