My New Walther PPS M2

Today I shot another 100 rounds with this gun, so I'm up to 300 rounds so far and I really like the way I can hit the target with this pistol, I love the sights and this is becoming my favorite trigger for a carry gun!

I don't know if the M2 has 7rd mags, but the M1 did. You might want to consider them. There was a big difference in the printing between the 7 and 8 round. 7 was really easy to keep concealed. Since I'm a mutant, I shot more accurately with the 7, but that's probably just me being weird because the 8 really did offer what seemed better grip.

Was at the range today and they had an M2 LE in the sale case. Man, it felt good in the hand and those sights were awesome. :) I sure wish they had one in the rental case. :(

But the completely new frame with its much better grip shape and "normal" magazine release, makes the M2 the better gun.

For concealed carry, which is presumably the primary function of the PPS, the original mag release design is superior, as it prevents the magazine from ever be inadvertently being released while holstered.

Another happy M2 owner

Just got back from the range with my new M2 LE and put the first hundred down the pipe. As far as carry 9s go and especially single stack 9s, this is THE ONE - for me at least. I've also tried G43, XDS, and Shield singles among other small guns like G26, G30, G42, XDM mod2, and USPc (not all 9) - and the M2 fits my hand the best and comes with sights I can SEE indoors. Plenty accurate. I have a Theis EZ Clip on order and I'll have to figure out a carry load for it, but I'm already thinking this is gonna be a favorite.

My M2 came with 6 and 7 round magazines. I bought two 8 round mags, I have only been able to find extra 8 round mags for this gun. I prefer the 6 round mag for carry and the bigger mags to carry as extras and for shooting.

The LE comes with one each of the 6, 7, and 8 rounders (but I only loaded 5 at a time until I get my Uplula :o :) ). Only 100 rounds so far, but early indications are that I'm a little more accurate with the 7 rounder too. I plan to carry the 6 but not sure about the spare yet.
