My new Rossi '92 in 45C

Range Points?

Hey, tell me about that range please. Every firing point shoots thru that tunnel, restricting bullets to the range as you can't see blue sky -- is that right?

It is an Iowa DNR range with moveable target posts out to 100 yards in 25 yard increments. Shooting into a 20 + foot tall berm. To the left is similar but it's standing handgun tables with 5, 9, 15, 25, 50, and 100 yard spots to move the target posts. They also have clay shooting and a steel range there too.

Nice rifle, I hope to pick up another one some day. I used to have the shorter 16" blued verison in .45 Colt and it shot well, but I really like the looks of yours. The stainless would match my Ruger Bisley .45!

Picked up this Henry in .45LC Took it to the range and you can see how it performed at 50 yards. Was going to take it to 100 yards, but I think it's time for me to get new glasses for shooting that far. Couldn't see the orange dot in the center very well at 100 yards.

On the .44 I agree it's an individual rifle problem. Nothing to do with it being .44. I've had a half dozen 92 .44s over the past thirty years - nary a problem. The .44 Mag is well within the Rossi/92's abilities. The gun (stemming from the original Win 92 design) has a very strong action.

I have the exact same rifle

Bought it on a lark and love the .45 slugs in a carbine. It is my favorite gun for 'fun' shooting. If I want to introduce someone to shooting a rifle, this is it. More accurate than I thought it would be. Haven't tried handloading beastly loads for it yet. Paco Kelly over at Leverguns.com has an article or two on how much the '92 action can take.
PS- It's a lot!
