Thank you. Yup that's about my hold over. I am only using open sights these days. I sight my 44 in with a 6 o'clock hold of 2" high at 25 yards. Thats is about perfect for 100yards and in. At 175 that distance the front sight is the size of the deers body. I did a top of the shoulder hold over. That puts it right about where I hit.
I practice ALOT at 100yards and expect my shots to be 50yards or under. As long as I am on the ground with a good braced supportive shot, I am very constant at the 150-175 yard mark. I don't ever shoot over 75 yards with a standing unsupported shot.
