My Democrat sister, hunters and sportsmen, and RKBA (Long).

Being antagonistic is an option if you aren't a hunter. As another poster stated, hunting is not necessary in this day and age, go to the grocery store. You do have the option of going after the telescopic sight. The original GCA '68 was going to include a ban on scopes but the hunters were outraged and that section was dropped. With all the talk of 'sniper rifles' it is not inconceivable that we could see a bill with a ban on them again. Being a handgun shooter I don't care if they ban scopes. Maybe they could see your point if there was a proposal to ban something that they use that you don't.

To quote an old friend...

"The average man don't know a hell of a lot."
If all gunowners were TFL members things would look different. We are in a war with ignorance.

Bam Bam, sorry I just can't resist. The Chugach Eskimos of southcentral Alaska have lived in Prince William Sound for thousands of years. The mountains surrounding the sound are covered with - you guessed it - rain forest. :D

As a hunter and supporter of RKBA, I've been whittling away at a couple hunting friends, trying to get them to see why we need to support the 2nd. Its frustrating. Getting them to think beyond the mind-numbing complacency inspired by the media is my goal, but I'm lucky if they even bother to read a link I send. I don't get it.
