MTM ammo boxes for reloads

I've been using MTM boxes of various kinds since the early 70s and the very first ones I got are still with me and doing just fine.

I don't know if they still do, but MTM used to say their hinge would be good for at least a million cycles.

I've got the rifle boxes with handles and the fingers that hold the bullet and the ones that just have a square "box" for each round. The ones without handles stack well, but only in the same sizes.

I like the fact the boxes are different sizes for different calibers.....makes it easier to see what all I got in the range bag for a days worth of shooting. Only place they really get stacked is on the shelves in the reloading room and even then they get stacked and separated by caliber.

I've carried ammo in everything from these types of ammo boxes to sandwich bags. I've used the old standbys like coffee cans and Tupperware. They all work. I prefer the boxes with slip on lids as opposed to the hinged type, but in the long run, they're all good......and the best part is, they're relatively inexpensive, so you can have lots of 'em.

I have both MTM & Planos & am happy with both. Maybe a slight preference for the Planos, but not for any lack with the MTMs.
