MS Combat Flight Simulator

A blast from the past: Red Baron and Red Baron II. Talk about aerial combat up close and personal.

I was winged death in the Dr.1 triplane. Once, in a 4-on-1 against "Mick" Mannock and three veterans in Sopwith Camels, I shot all of them down in less than a minute.

No cheats! Have honor like the Knights of the Air of old...

Wow, I haven't played MS CFS in at least a year. I too got sick of the cheat planes. Maybe we should get a group together and fight in our own room.
I prefer the FW-190. myabe not as dominating as the P-51, but it'll take a lickin' and you can't beat those cannon.

Well - CFS is OLD HAT to a lot of folks buts new to me. I never bothered with it as JANES had my air sim attention.

Is it just me or is HIGH ALTITUDE flying like standing on a greased ball?
Take a P-47 at Angels 20+ and try to turn 180 degrees - I end up going into a spin unless I turn VERY CAREFULLY. The Thunderbold is a good plane down low - good guns. Two more than the mighty Stang - and a very stable flyer. Trying to recover from a spin in it is not cool. Serious handling issues under 400 Knots up high. Breath wrong and she'll stall and down you go.
Maybe if I max out my prop speed...
Anyways - LOVING this game.
As soon as I can I'll let everyone know who is interested and we can do some online multi player games. TFL Squadron...
