nope, they were Beretta .380s, 87s I think

Yes, I find the movie gun mistakes annoying. The Matrix was good but the slo-mo scene where they storm the agent complex bugged. Too much of that John Woo slo-mo stuff is annoying and seeing rifle shells come out of a Skorpion with no recoil in full-auto bugged. It did look like the girl who jumped through the window and drew the guns had Beretta 84's.

I've seen some recent movies where the muzzle flashes and sparks where the bullets hit look like they're added in graphically; they might as well draw them as laser beams. I don't know what's up with holding the gun sideways, if you do a search here, you'll find a thread for some sights specially designed for that.

I saw the last hour of "hard target" starring Van Dam a few nights ago. The last scene where they're chasing him around this old warehouse was ridiculous! It got to the point where every shot was blowing up something.
BG: Shoots at VD and misses, big explosion behind VD.
VD: shoots at bad guy, misses and big explosion behind BG.
Does anyone know where I can get these warhead type bullets?!?
(the warehouse looked like it was storing old mardi-gras floats. Maybe they were made out of C4) :)
