Mouse Gun Mania or I want a P32!!!

I've shot one a lot, here are my impressions:

Small and light, been said before.
Comes in a rainbow of fruit flavors -- the wife liked this aspect, she wanted the red one.

The only problems I encountered was the slide stop pin (Yeah there's no slide stop, but the whatever that pin is called that performs the same function on the KT32) kept backing out every magazine full of rounds or so. I hear KelTec can replace the pin with a better one, and it's a simple as calling them up and they'll ship you one, so it's not a big deal.

I do not own one as for myself the small 9mm from Kahr was just as easy to carry.

Best Mouse gun for the $ I feel.

It's thin, light, easy to maintain, has cool accesories readily available, and KelTec backs em up.

Mine had the bad extractor that a recent set were plagued with.
They said send us barrel and slide, we'll replace it.
I said how about chrome. $20

$20. Most people won't pick up a screwdriver for $20.00.

I am gonna send my P-11 in for a hard chromed slide and barrel too.

Great service and they stand behind the product. What more can you want?

Accuracy

You asked about accuracy? Here's some observations on mine.

-Offhand, rapid fire, I can keep all 8 in a torso at 15 yards. Well beyond self-defense range. At 7 yards, off/rapid, I can keep 'em all in about 6"

-Bench resting, I get about 3-4" groups at 10 yards. Plenty good. The sights are actually fairly usable. I put florescent orange on the front sight to help separate it from the rear "post".

-Plinking, I can usually hit tin cans at 10 yards. Can always hit anything bigger than a tin can at that distance.

I thought that I would feel comfortable carrying my P32 during the summers, but I really feel undergunned when carrying it. I think that 9mm or 38 is my threshhold of comfort. I'll probably sell mine when I decide what to replace it with. For now I haven't had any problems with carrying my G26. The KelTecs are no longer available in CA except from a private party that acquired it before the ban so I probably will not have much trouble selling it. My shoots fine and I have no problems with it. My P11's and P40's also shot alright for me, but the KelTec user's page with the probems horror stories convinced me to go Glock. Have shot about 7,000 rounds through my 17 and 26 and only problem was an ejected shell bouncing back from the overhead and jamming the 17 once. I easily qualified the 32 for my permit, but only 3-5-7 yards are required. BTW, I have only shot FMJ's in mine as I consider they might penetrate enough to get to the job done, and question the use of HP's in this caliber. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Good luck and I hope the police armorer that inspected my guns for my permit was wrong. He said that I would probably really pissoff somebody if I shot him with it.

What you really need is a 10mm shooting +p+:D
Seriously though...
When the big stuff is home because it is, well, too big and heavy...
the P32 in a shirt pocket is a helluva lot better than nothing.
That's why I bought one.
That's why my friend has it now cuz he can't carry anything bigger.
I want it back!!:(

Tell the police armorer about the cop who took a .32 round under his vest
and died.
(I think I read about that over on the Stopping Power forum)

Durn you Blackhawk!!! You let the cat out of the bag!!! :)
I traded two unused Tauri revolvers for it friday!!! Now, I can reveal my master plan. As most of you well know, I "lost" my G26 to a "yes dear" some time ago. Now, even though said G26 turned out to be impractical for the girl's needs, I was unable to reclaim it!! Now, the problem is solved!! She thinks the mousegun is "cute" (I bought the one with the dark blue frame, her favorite color. ;) ) Now, once again, I'm caught in another "yes dear" situation. Boo-hoo!!! ;) Of course, this "frees up" my Glock!!! There's only one problem. I've also grown attached to the little guy!!! Have to buy another one, I guess!!!

I have put 120 rounds through it. I have to make sure it works. ;) It was strange at first, trying to sight a sightless gun, but I figured out that the point shoot method was the way to go. After that I began to put those way small leeeetle bullets where they needed to go!!!

With my lovely wife working grave yard retail, and with her employer's "safe crimminal zone" mentality, and her uniform requirements that " the shirt must be tucked in at all times", the P32 is the perfect tool for putting two or three quick shots into the armed, robbing scum and getting the heck out of Dodge, so to speak!!! With armed robbers going back to the age old policy of "not leaving any witnesses who can testify", I want my wife armed!!! I don't give a rat's ass about any soft, liberal, commie pinko's "just give them the money and pray they will go away" policy!!!!!

We had a triple murder at a local fast food resturant last week. One girl was killed as she tried to escape. The other two died where they stood. If one of those people had even a mouse gun, the outcome could have been way different!!!. Well thanks for putting up with my rant.

She does like the mousegun and I have absolutely no qualms about handing it over!!! :D
