Most Accurate in 9mm / .357MAG

Depends upon how you shoot and what you are accustomed to. I find for myself, I can shoot a revolver much more accurately than a semi-auto.

My two most acurrate would be my G19 and my S&W 686-3. My G19 does however have a KKM barrel, the most important and worthwhile mod for practically any glock.

In 9mm Sig 226 or CZ85. Both mine have shot about 1 1/2 at 25 YARDS off rest 5 shots.

ANY good 357 revolver, 686, GP, Python can outshoot it's handler IMHO. Not true for some 9mms. I had a Python that was freakin accurate but they are known to be a bit fragile. Shoulda kept it though looking at recent prices...GP-100 is probably the best for a hard use gun.

Of my 3 pistols:

Colt Detective Special
Kahr P9
Glock 23

The Glock is the most accurate at more than 15 yards followed by the Kahr.

Tom

Sorry for this post! The Glock and the Colt aren't 9mm/357.

I can't seem to delete it. :(

I agree with the comment from Winchester 73. I have a Glock 19 and S&W 686-6 4" and they shoot with very good accuracy. So does my Beretta 92FS Inox.

The most accurate 9mm I've fired is a friend's Beretta 92. The long barrel, smooth slide action and heavy weight come together to make a very stable and accurate platform.

The most accurate .357 magnum I've fired is the S&W M19 with 4" barrel. However, the only other .357s I've fired is a Taurus 66 (I think) so it's not an extensive comparison.

S&W model 19-5 2.5" is still my number one for revolvers as far as 9mm goes I prefer the all steel guns. I love the Springfield EMP and anything that STI makes in 9mm. I'm not such a tiny fellow so a little extra weight suits me fine and besides all steel in a little gun tames them too.
