Most accurate 9mm for carry?

Sig 210

Ala Dan:
Are you familiar with the New 210? I've never handled or personally seen a 210 (except in pictures). I'm rather intrigued by its reputation. Is this worth 1600 - 2000 (this is NOT a flame or criticism - accurate+beautiful+unique+high quality+reliable is worth it) vs. say a custom 9mm. Looks like a beautiful pistol!

The Kahr would be my first choice. With the shorter barrel and such, its very accurate for what it is and the most concealable.
My CZ Compact is just as accurate as the SIG 226 and 239 I shoot occasionally. Given your choices I would go with the Kahr.

Shoot well

Greeting's T-Man,

I have not owned or shot a Sig P210; but I got a chance
to handle one a few years ago. I think it was a P210-6,
and it felt really nice. Unfortunately, it wasn't for sale as
it belonged to a friend of mine. Supposedly, since this
relic is hand crafted it may be worth the asking price of
between $1600-$2000. Saw an early production gun at
a show sometime back, and I think it was $2100.00?

Best Wishes,
Ala Dan, Life Member N.R.A.

The SIG 210 is too big to carry imho. I would agree that the HK P7 is probably the most accurate based on what I've read.

Classic Internet Gun Forum thread:

"I have narrowed my choices down to the K-9, P-239, and P-225. Which is most accurate?"

Answers include: Springfield 1911 in 9mm, Springfield XD/HS2000, HK P9S and P7Mx, SIG P-210, Glock 26 (?), Browning High Power, and the CZ-75.

IMI baby eagle, in the compact version.
You can buy two for the price of one Sig.
Mine has never jammed, and is a joy to shoot.
One of my faves.

Tamara,

Are you, of all people, being critical because people can't stick to the posted topic?

If anyone has strayed in this one it has been to offer what they consider a similarly classed pistol for consideration. CZ's and HPs certainly aren't, but some have limited experience and are trying to help.

I would contrast their style with someone who evades direct questions and constantly argues minutia in an attempt to appear correct and knowledgeable.

When I posted my CZ75 opinion, I was not paying attention to the list of possibilities he gave at the end of his post. Merely made my suggestion based on his experience with pistols that can be carried cocked and locked:o

I will throw support to the HK P7 as well.

If you are used to 1911s, you will undoubtedly hate the DA/SA trigger on the two Sigs you mentioned, as well as the DAO trigger on the Kahr.

The P7 does kind of have a weird manual of arms, but you will get used to it in just a few hrs at the range.

Get a P7M8. It is accurate, compact and much safer to carry than the others. That being said, The 239 is the best of your original choices. It is more compact than the 225 and at least as accurate. That said, the only time I carry my 239 instead of my P7 is when I feel like I might have to leave it in my car. Damn if I am going to let some thug have my prized P7!

Concealability is relative. I absolutely love my Ruger p-95. Points well without searching for sight picture, dead accurate, never a hiccup and with a pre ban Mec-Gar I feel comfortable that I have 16 rounds of 9mm Hydrshok personal protection on my strong side with a weapon and ammo that I can double tap to center mass and one to the head without even trying, even at 45-60 feet.

I am not as good with my 45 or 38 special so clearly the gun is the shooter in this family, not me.

I wanted the 38 special for concealment, I wanted the 45 for power. I carry the 9mm p-95 for how well it performs.
