More college idiots....need help

The First: ...the right of the PEOPLE to peaceable emble...

The Second: ...the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms...

Did the Framers believe that only journalists should be able to have free speach and peaceably emble? I think not. "The right of the people" means the same thing in both cases.

Take a look at the decisions there. After the NRA-ILA alert, I went through and looked up all the cases which were cited by the gubmint as supporting the lawyer's position in Emerson. EVERY SINGLE ONE states that the 2nd CLEARLY upholds the individual right to keep and bear arms. I put together a list comparing the snippets that were in the letter to the actual language of the cases, if it might be of any help.

Hueco, I'm afraid you have a long life ahead of you battling the system and tilting windmills. I, for one, am happy to have you there fighting for not only our rights but those of our future generations.
Your efforts are recognized and appreciated. I sincerely thank you.

I was promised a Shortycicle and I want a Shortycicle!

That's EXACTLY why I chose to be a Criminal Justice Major. I wanted to find out the truth. Several of my teachers are cops, Judges, Probation Officers, and Correctional Officers. Most of them have Ph.D's and carry guns themselves. It's about the most interesting major out there; besides it's just about the only one I could stay awake through.

Perceptions of gun rights is one of my favorite topics to do research on. If you want fair unbiased research, look up a guy named Gary Kleck. I find it amazing how many CJ majors think you need a permit just to buy a gun in GA. So sad; but I usually straighten them out ;)
