Right now as long as stocks don't change by middle of next week, I'll be ordering from BCM and PSA. I've decided that I kinda need to stop looking at parts, cause I just keep finding different things and go OOOOOO that would be nice. lol
I'm also torn on ordering everything together but with some parts using alternates to what I had intended, or spreading it out over a few months, and waiting until the few parts I wanted come back instock instead of getting alternates.

IMO, right now things are on the cusp of another full-blown black rifle panic like we saw late 2008-mid 2009.
What happened was that just about all AR parts were in high demand and the parts that require great care (barrel, bolts) were well-night unobtainable. So if you see what you like in stock now, just get it now. Most companies stepped up their production a bit since then, so stuff comes back in stock more often, but it still sells out.
I'd find the stuff you actually want, if it's in stock then order it, but if it isn't, then use the "email when back in stock" feature (if they have one). When you get the email, jump on it.
I remember BCM uppers and BCGs selling out in less than an hour. You had to move FAST when you got the email.

It seems that way. I had emailed Spike's about items that weren't specifically tagged with their indefinite backorder notice. They still said up to 90 days and that the rush is from elections.
While I can't speculate as to the cause, there is definitely a rush on right now. Why oh why did I decide now was a good time to get an AR? lol
Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a move. I'll be settled again next week, but ordering the parts right now just isn't feasible. Although it is a good incentive to get straight to the DMV for my new license next week, so I can order the lower.
