Model 1 sales ?

I plan on ordering a kit from them in a week or so. They said the turnaround time to ship is about 3 days. Also says it on the web site. Their prices are spot on. Going to give them a shot. Del-Ton turn around they said is 4 to 6 weeks. That is too long for me if it was shorter I would go with them.

i have been thinking about model 1 as well...
as far as ar15.com, i feel they are kind of a joke! they find anything and everything to complain about! i bought a 20in stainless steel bull barrel flat top kit from blackthorneproducts.com. i have heard more trash talked about blackthorne than i care to mention. i topped it with a leupold vx-1 4x12 40mm scope. i never expected the kind of accuracy that i get with this rifle. it is much much more accurate than i am! it shoots anywhere from the occasional .4 moa to the very common .6-.75 moa! to me that is exceptional for an ar that cost me less than $800 including the scope. it is my go to gun on shooting day when i need to put a smile on my face. it makes me feel like a surgeon! if i out the cross hairs on it, its gone! simple as that. my only gripe with blackthorne was the trigger. i had a guy at work do a little work to it and it works just fine now. it used to be extremely heavy and creep something awful. it is still heavy but the creep has been eliminated. im smiling just thinking about the next time i get to shoot it

I've bought stuff from them by mail and at a gun show. I haven't had any problems with any of their stuff at all. Works good enough to keep me happy and I am extremely hard on stuff. I tend to break things in or break them down. No half way measures for me.
