Milsurp Bolt Guns

The British often used the American 1907 sling with the No.4 (T) and also with target rifles.
They did not like a leather sling for infantry rifles due to mold and moisture damage in tropical climes during WW2, and in the trenches of WW1.

The British had produced some leather slings, but these quickly fell out of favor as more durable webbing slings were developed.

The 1907 sling is superior to web slings for precise shooting.

;)

On the M69 it came in the box.

I use the web slings most of the time. I have one Enfield nylon sling that costs $450+ today so it's the web slings most of the time.
