Million Mom March stands accused of assaulting a champion of the Second Amendment

I've run into the violent antis - The folks who're just sure they'll go berserk... I calmly tell them that I'm really happy that they acknowledge their mental instability, and I'm happy that they are responsible enough to seek counseling, etc., but I'm not unstable, and don't really appreciate them applying the standards of their flawed behavior to me... etc., etc... Talk about folks turning various colors...

Then there was the guy who told me that if he knew someone in a crowded restaurant was legally carrying concealed, he'd stab the person and take the firearm before the guy had a chance to shoot someone - I was unable, after a fairly lengthy argument, to convince the guy that people carry defensively, not offensively, and that a guy with a CCW is entitled to munch a steak in peace...

The one that takes the cake was the person who told me that she hoped that I had someone break in and steal all my guns, so that I couldn't shoot someone... Her reasoning didn't extend to the criminal aspects...

Go Ghandi, on camera. At the next rally show up. With Signs and in nice shirts. Go for the polo shirt. No t-shirts, nice jeans but no tuxes. Women and Minorities up front for the camera's please. Most importantly NO GUNS. The one time a Anti get's zapped attacking an Pro and that it, turn them in, it's all over. I don't care what concevable sitiation it was, if a PRO kills a ANTI it's over. You'll see why in a bit.

At the rally take a very obvious position. Signs forward. No sticks. Signs should be held up place cards but not on sticks. Very important because we're getting out asses kicked here. Now the trick is to sing and do nothing else. My favorite is "The Battle Cry of Freedom." Through the whole rally, just standing there with our signs singing. This will not work however if it's a meeting or other goverment "panel" etc. because that's an excuse to get kicked out.
Now comes the important part. Someone will come and try and disrupt you, it's human nature. You will ignore them. They will yell at you. Hold your place. They will question your parentage. Hold your place. They WILL STRIKE YOU!!! HOLD YOUR PLACE. The more you fail to react the braver they will get, like those little dogs that only bite you in the ankels. You know the ones. As soon as one person is hit to the point they can't take it fall back in line and close ranks. Now I know your saying your not going to take a beating from one of these guys, but you are. Because we're filming this, the whole thing. And we have a team that's entire job is to get the pictures. And get them out of the area and on the net, FAST. Remember the Elian raid. There was a cameraman in the house just for that shot. And it paid off big.
How does one get out of this??? The cops SHOULD be jumping all over this and nailing the assaultors. Good to go, press charges and use the film as evidence. If they try and arrest you both, (very likely), go ahead and submit to the arrest. be cooperative and help full. The tapes will get you out. Now if your in New York, the cops aren't going to do anything. Have a escape route planned. Fall back to the vehicles and run for it. Leave no one behind. Once again GET THE FILM OUT. One picture is worth a thousand words and all it takes is one of Rosie stomping on a American flag as she attacks a Pro and it's all over for the MMM's

Hey Mussi, where in CH are you? My parents have a house in Vufflens (Vaud). I was just over there on vacation in early August and get over there once a year. Not easy to acquire a handgun in Switzerland. My dad loved my Glock when he last visited me in the States.

Lets not forget that actions like what you describe have won many people freedom. But the cost is high.
Some people would rather beat down the Anti's then win them over. These people are the threat to us. Actions like what you described could trully promote the cause. Peace is the answer weather some people like it or not. Oh some day there may come a time when there is no other way but violence. But for the love of God who wants to make it sooner and not later.
 
Why not sue them like the naacp sued the kkk in a class action suit and hit them in their funds for injuries

As laudable as your intent/statements are, there's many women & children at our demos & although I'll not whip out the Hi Power & smoke 'em if ya got 'em, I won't stand by for dire physical violence being invoked on our side - or theirs.

Reasonable force necessary will be used to stop any violence. Thankfully, the very few incidences (initiated by the antis, BTW) were over very quickly, were very muchso one-on-one & of a relatively low key.

The gods do help those who help themselves.

Funny (in a strange, modern kinda way) that LEO types call us every beforetime we are to do a demo to "facilitate a peaceful demonstration." Our (my) reply is "Duh! What other kind is there?"

The LEO presence is fairly overwhelming in many instances but, to date, the cops ain't done jack to prevent any violence instigated by the antis. Prevent a crime? Granted, pretty hard to do, so why the overwhelming presence? Historians as in most all else.

They do take our pictures alot though .....
 
I'm just trying to explain a point of politics here. The Press will not show the lone crazed anti attacking a line. The Cops will do nothing against that either. However, an incident that results in an assault upon a pro. Good Videotape or pictures of the incident, preferably with the cops standing by and doing nothing, can result in a major SLAPP suit. Against:
The Anti- protest organizers. (MMM, HCI)
The Assaultor
The Police Dept
The Police officers.
The City/County that the incident happened in.

Now in part two is the spin,
First thing that happens is the phase one press release:

Demonstrators beaten, hospitalized in Gun March.
In the City of Mummertown today, protestors today assaulted Demonstrators at a Gun rally. The incident was captured on film and tape. In the film, police are seen to stand by and observe as the demonstration line, that was engaged in singing spirituals and holding place cards that read "No more Lubys and "For the Children", was attacked by a rock throwing mob. Several people were taken to a local hospital. Racal and Hate speech was used, as the mob attacked the line, remecent of something out of the '60's. A local leader of the Demonstration was quoted as saying. "They might attack us, they can beat us, but we will get our message of truth out."

Note that we are not mentioning sides here, but when this hits the wires it WILL draw attention. News organizations have gotten lazy and with a little bit of background filler they will go to press with what they got. Especially if it's close to Five.

Phase two press releases start when the Press starts their "Investigation". Information should slowly get out that it was ANTI's attacking PRO's. Quotes from the injured that read like "I was afraid for my life" and "They were animals" should be used. Just about this time the press should be catching on but it's too late. The herd of Sheeple is moving and once the herd starts moving it's hard to get them to stop. By now the Video should have been played on every television. Remember Rodney King?

Phase three is the killing blow. A full bore press conference explaining the incident. The injured should be brought on stage and allowed to answer questions. The Suit should be announced and any News organization that reported unfairly (i.e. actually SAID that Pro's attacked ANTI's) should be mentioned and pilloried. The end result should be in turning this from a Gun issue to a Civil Rights issue. (Which it is anyway but I don't think the sheeple could handle that). So we start with the simple. "They, won't let us speak", and people will want to hear what we have to say.

Creating an incident like this is a classic way to get public opinion on your side. Remember Rosa Parks? Staged. The time, person, bus was all staged for that moment. The Sit in at the Lunchcounter? The same. Most of the great moments in Civil Right history were set up to the right time and place.

Anyway this is how it's done. You can find stuff like this on the net. Mostly on Lefty sights like PETA or Green Peace. It works, It works well, and we've been getting our ass kicked by it for the last 40 years.
