Michael Badnarik(L) Arrested - Cobb(G) too!

With the government authority and corporate welfare being handed out to the corporations, the term "private corporation" is quickly becoming an oxymoron.

Most of these debates are funded by a substantial amount of public money in various ways.
 
1. Arizona has a law prohibiting partisan use of public money, and the 3rd debate is being held at the University of Arizona. Badnarik is the only third party on the ballot in Arizona. The legal papers to be served were a court order from an Arizona judge for a hearing on the LP's exclusion from the third debate.

2. CPD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. That means they give up some of their "rights", in exchange for not paying taxes. They cannot do anything they want.

The hearing was this morning. As mentioned on badnarik.org, the court refused to grant an injunction due to the short time-frame involved, but CPD is still liable for damages if the LP's rights were violated.
